Will a 750c battery box fit in a 750f?

In the process of restoring my 80 750f and I removed the pretty rusty battery box out. I want to get it powder coated and that’s when I found one on eBay for a 750c that’s powder coated. The cost is probably half of what it would cost me to take mine to a PC spot. The ad on eBay fitment section says it won’t fit and I checked the parts diagrams and it looks like C battery box is a different part # than the F. They look awfully similar tho. Will the 750c fit the 750f?

Ebay case has no bracket. Look at the single upright posts at the far side. See the F needing that bracket near the left upright? So you zip-tie the part needing that bracket, or glue it to the batt case.

Since it's NLA from the dealer, this is coated, it sure looks like it would work. Both take the same batt plastic tray number.
