I had a pair like that for a long time. Even though it was a fine specimen, I eventually sold the CBX and kept the CB1100F. I intended to find one of the first two years without the fairing and bags, but never came across one that I was willing to pay for.

If looking for a twin shock CBX, one of my customers has decided to sell his.

Fresh, complete restoration, powder coated frame, 0 miles since we finished it last year.

Candy Glory Red, priced at $15,000 for quick sale (spent way more than that on the existing bike).

I can arrange shipping to Texas for about $600 in an enclosed, temperature controlled, insured transporter.

Email (not PM) me if interested. (button below).

J.R. there is no "email" button in your post on this thread. Am I missing something or is it actually missing?

Was missing for some reason, now shown., Can email me here:

Here are a couple of snaps. One, illustrating some the parts of the motor (after boring to 1147) that were powder coated. Another, showing my method to installing the carbs, no muss, no fuss, one person.

Not at that price! I paid $2,700 for this one in the early 2000s. Those prices are the reason I didn't ever find a replacement after selling this one.

Welcome to 2020. That's what these bikes a priced at in this condition. This one's priced to sell but, I'm guessing just not to you. Like I said, the customer has more than the asking price just in the restoration and he did the majority of the work himself. I did all the stuff that gets hot or has fluids.
Have this naked Pro-Link at $18K:
