My new bike/bikes

Been reading posts for a long time now and think its time to post. Here is a pic of my bike that i got last Febuary

Had one 20 years ago and sold it when the kids came along taken me this long to get another will find a pics of my old bikes and post them later
Have purchased alot of parts over the last few months to convert this one back to original as poss have front faring and turn signals just need to get faring painted and on it will go.Going to order a Marving 4 into 2 in the balck chrome as well from this guy in Italy
Parts are very hard to come by and i am as good at fixing bikes as a condom is to the pope so i thought lets get a ramp/hoist so i am not on the floor trying to fix or clean

then it was lets get another bike and use it for parts and i found this, a guy was using this to hoon around his paddock covered in red dust and redbacks picked it up for US$1200 bike runs, sounds rough as guts but it runs, front forks a leaking oil and it needs a good clean also got a heap of other parts to go with it brake parts, rear suspensions, faring tank and rack

So now the fun part i am slowly going to strip parts off the boldor have a go at fixing/cleaning and installing on the US model and i am going to start with the carbys.
Question time as i know nothing about what we are about to do but it will be fun are the carbys the same ao both models and will i be able to swap one to the other, what would be the best kit to service the carbys with

Just remember they are projects not parts bikes.
Much easier to justify getting another one.

I think Randakk has the best carb kits.
The site says out of stock but i would contact them anyways,.

If the US model has the original carbs (VB 56, should be stamped on the side) they are different than everyone elses. They are a 2 circuit carb vs a 3 circuit carb (I believe VB 52???).

This is the carbby that i have on the red 1100 Boldor would this fit on to the US model

As for the boldor i paid AU$1700 i have noticed that it has got the 750 foot rests, but one of the owners did have a tow bar set up on the bike also two different rear suspension units, have checked the engine and frame numbers and they are all 1100f. What else can you see that is off the 750/900 models.

Will get carby kit from Randakk when i get back from Bali just spent all my left over coin on a holliday

Genesound if i can get my boldor looking half as good as your one i will be very happy Time will tell long term project.

VB 57's (not 52's, I believe they are for 1100r's) are the euro/asian market 3 circuit carbs for the 1100f. Check the numbers on your US bike carbys. Should be VB 56.
