i tried the corbin and liked the look and comfort but felt like my knees were touching my elbows.
is there another manufacturer or recommendation for a smaller stepped seat.
i guess i could cut an OEM foam and recover but unless the cover is shapped to suit i think it would crease and look like a 2 year old had done it.
stock 900f
all help greatly appreciated.
thanks mark

I have seen many that cut their seat and used the stock cover and it look good. I plan to do the same but have my upholsterer do the cover as their is some tricks to the trade.

Just my 2 cents.

Peace, Jim

Maybe contact Sargent and see if they have some ideas like this SOHC seat.

+1

I have one of their seats on my ZRX, excellent work and they have wonderful customer service something that Corbin is greatly lacking in.

Mr. Wog, who is a member HERE will do custom work on your seat, he is very popular on the ZRX forum, shoot him a PM.

Also, you should know that Corbin will customize your seat anyway you want for no extra charge.

As an example, I was sitting much farther forward on seat than the stock corbin is designed for. They were able to make the driver seat area shorter for me no problem.

Rearsets will help with the seating position too. Pegs farther back and up a bit gives you a better riding position and will get your knees away from the bars too.

Click on the picture in my signature. This is a stock seat cut down and then reupholstered.
