So I called a guy last night about a seat that he had for sale on Kijiji and now I have this in the back of my truck. And the seat. And two tanks, one of which looks new. And side covers with all the tabs. And a box full of bits.
I should really get the first one going...
Cheers from Toronto. |

Safely back to the shop with most of the bits slapped back on.
Not bad. Plastics are in really nice shape. There are a couple of scratches on the tank, but it doesn't look like it's been used. The engine doesn't have any busted fins or signs of obvious tampering. I'm not unhappy. I could think of worse ways to part with a couple hundred bucks.
I'm going to go through it and see what I need for my bike, but there will likely be lots up for sale to forum members. I won't be looking to ship anything big, so if any of the local owners are interested in big pieces, PM me.
Ed, I'll call you after lunch. |

That's why I don't own a truck!!!!
Nice score though. That is a weird looking pair of shocks on that bike, are they from a Goldwing?
Have fun!

I've promised to let Ed have a look at the pipe before I sell it, but if he passes, we'll work something out.
I'll keep you posted. |

I hope that whatever was living here has left.
I would poop my pants if a critter jumped out at me to protect its home. |

I always love taking the head off of a new junker. You never know what is lurking inside of an old motor.

Congrats on the new pick up and PM sent.
I need a few bits so please keep me in mind when you are planning to part things out. I'll come by to get them.

Just wanted to post a +1 for Jason (Toronto78). I needed a few missing (but not critical) parts for my 900 and he has been very generous in donating them to me off his new (ahem) find. Great guy that definitely rides in the spirit of this forum.
Thanks Jason! |
