CB1100F body parts compatible with modern '14 CB1100?
I got the notion that some of the original Tail Cowls and seats from the circa '83 CB1100F bikes look really great and that those bikes look so darn similar to the Modern 2013/2014 CB1100 that these body parts might be somewhat compatible. Am I dreaming? I can order parts online and track them here. does anybody have enough experience with both these bikes to say whether or not these parts would fit without any crazy fabrication?

The front 1100f fender will fit with just a small set of brackets to bridge the difference in fender mount holes. The tail will not adapt without effort and youd need a different seat too. I had a 2014 deluxe that I got a fiberglass rear cowl from Japan that mimicked the 1100f tail. Had to buy the seat too. It was really good looking 😎 |
