G'day from Australia. Thanks for excepting to the forum I’ve just picked up my new project bike, a 1983 CB1100F red and white model, rolling chassis With some boxes with the dismantled engine, it looks like it’s all there, lots of new parts including a 1300 big bore kit, so far I’ve cleaned down all the engine parts, cleaned the crank oil galleries and replaced the ball bearing plugs checked and installed new con rod bearings as required, crank fitted in the cases, next Job is drop all the gear box and clutch parts in the ultrasonic cleaner before reassemble and installation, hopefully gasket and seal kits will arrive this week so I can complete the bottom end, (it’s too wet and cold outside at the moment) for any thig else. |

Great, and good luck with your project. I will follow this
Pictures are always welcome.
I guess, the 1300cc kit is from RPE. I use some products from him, but not this 1300cc kit.
So I look forward to hearing about your experiences.
regards

I hadn’t heard of RPE offering big bore kits and hot rod DOHC parts
I’m very interested to see how it turns out.
Post some pics when you are ready |
