Great videos, Cat.
Some good tips and i also admire your methodical approach.
I know i would be easily distracted by all the lovely bikes in the background of some of the clips.

Cheers Smurdoch, the bikes all lined up are nice to look at , like artwork. Too bad I don't get to ride them very much.

keeping that many bikes insured in Ontario Canada, would require small fortune (that I don't have), so I have to rotate one "classic" a year to ride and I keep 2 newer bikes insured all the time.

I'm in the same boat. Would like to insure a couple more bikes.
Currently paying $500 a year for a CBX on the Aviva Vintage program.

I've been watching some of your videos Straycat, great work, I really enjoyed listening to your unassuming approach to most things.

I have my eye on a CBX750F that is for sale local to where I live in Australia. Like the CBX in your videos it's a Japanese DM import.

I note with great interest how your swapped out your starter clutch. I've done this job on both my CB1100F and VF1100F, and both times it was a relatively easy job.

I didn't realize (until I watched your video) that the starter clutch on the CBX750F (and I suspect the Nighhawks) is buried deep inside the engine.

This has kind off put me off buying a CBX750F, it's not that I couldn't tackle that kind of job.....it's just more hassle than I want to take on right now.

Here's my question....if the CBX750F I'm looking at has 30,000km, and starts up just fine, are there any other tell tail signs that the starter clutch is likely to start failing?
