He needs Hip, and probably knee replacement surgery, Consequently he has been in a wheel chair
and has been in a lot of pain lately. |

I just talked to Bob. He is feeling better, and says to thank everyone for the well wishes, and he will be back
on the forum when he gets out of the hospital. |

That's great news. I really hope that he can get himself in better health so he can get his hip replaced and get out of the wheelchair. He has a lots of plans for his CBX build and I would like to see him finish his dream bike. |

Well, the fog is clearing slowly but enough to express my deep and sincere appreciation for the kind wishes expressed.
This has been a couple of the most bizarre weeks (years)
in recent memory. Way too much to even try to describe.
Gene, one thing kept coming to mind (in moments of clarity) is your signature "we don't see things as they are, we see things as we are".
However many interpretations of that there are, I think
I can say I know at least one having to do with how my
condition has affected me in recent years.
Maybe more later but thank you all, it means a lot to me. |

Got a couple kick start bikes at the back of the garage you can use for physio? We'll start small and work up to the Bonneville.  |

I still have a ways to go before the hip surgeon will
allow me in the OR but I think the cellulitis is about
gone. I just want to be able to swing my leg over the
seat of a bike again (or walk would be nice). I miss
riding so badly I have dreams about it. Never give up ! |
