Liam, I have one to use as an example, where are you in Ct? Won't be back till next week, but happy to provide a template. I'd even buy a few from you once they are completed...

OK, I work in Shelton. I'll contact you next week. The inside of the cap is fairly intricate, and visual inspection will probably be helpful.

I’ve had them 3-d printed, they’re okay but the original are much better. If you print them so the top looks good, the interior needs a lot of work to fit. Conversely, if you print upside down to get the interior nice then the outside finish looks like crap.

I'll have to ask the person who has the file and I haven't seen her since before Christmas. The file we have was generated from an engineering scan of the OEM caps on my 1100. I ran with the printed pieces for a few years just to keep the originals safe.

What material did you use? The Onyx filament leaves a fantastic surface finish and is strong to boot!

That’s about as good as we got on the exterior. I think your interior is a bit better.

Have you tried to fit it to the white adjuster plate? I needed to scrape the interior to get the cap to sit properly.
