Today is my 10th anniversary of joining this great forum dedicated to the CB-F DOHC bikes. When I turned 50, I made it my mission to get back into biking after a 22 year absence. I always wanted to own a CB1100F. I bought a new 1980 CB750F when I was just starting to work full time. When the 11F came out, I wanted one badly, but couldn't afford one at the time.
When a friend, one that I used to ride my CB750F with, had a beautiful CB1100F for sale, I couldn't resist! I knew the bike was well maintained and near showroom condition. I picked it up in April of 2008 and have loved owning it ever since. It is as nice as the day I picked it up.
This forum has also given me the opportunity to gain knowledge and acquire spare parts for my bike, but most importantly, make MANY new friendships and riding buddies!! I've met over 50 members on this site by attending the Midwest and Northeast rides.
Cheers!! to many more years of riding and being a member of the best motorcycle forum on the web! Thanks to Glenn too!
Chris

You, Sir, are a fibber! That picture could have been taken THIS summer!
Congrats on getting back into riding, and I agree wholeheartedly with you about the F site.

That's a great looking bike. I have a blue US model, but I always thought the Canadian blue version with the gold rims was the better looking of the two.

Very "buff" Chris, I mean the bike.
It's always a pleasure when we meet at the Northeast events, oh yes also your sidekick, what's his name? Congrats on becoming 60, you are catching up to me.

Ed, I'll always remember the day I rode to your place and met you and Joe D for the first time. That ride into downtown Toronto was a blast. Those three bikes with the V&H headers sounded great together.
Cheers!
