Just finished the headers:
Here is what the final can will look like:
The final cost of a removable baffle is too high, so unfortunately it won't make it in the final exhaust. I tried a few ways to make this happen but couldn't figure out a cost effective way to make it affordable. Strangely enough, I actually really like how the can turned out, in my opinion it looks way cleaner in that brushed stainless steel.
Production has started on the collectors. A fixture is being made for the midpipe.
My personal bike is back at the shop and ready for final fitment when everything is done. |

I really like the look of the can - the end is very clean looking.
This could be the exhaust that goes on Resto-Mod II, so I hope to be one of your first customers.

I was sad that I couldn't get the removable baffle can in, but I'm glad something better came out of it. I'm super happy you like it Tom!

I'm out. I couldn't wait any longer and just put in an order for a Jaygui exhaust. Good luck with your endeavor. |

Sorry it's taking so long guys! Headless, Thanks for sticking it through this far thou!
I finally approved final fitment! I spent 2 weeks nit picking angles till things were cleaner looking and straight. Nothing wrong with it the way it was, but I just feel like if it isn't going to be perfect, than it's not good enough. I just placed the order to make the exhaust, they are now bending the mid pipe and headers. When this is finished, I was told I have 2 work orders ahead, all that will be left is for me to laser engrave my logo and package the exhaust. Now that's it's all finalized, I can start looking for standard size box to fit it all in. I don't remember if I ever mentioned, but I found these vaccufoam inserts that will fix into the box, so not a single piece of the exhaust will have any room to move during shipping. I can't stand it when ppl ship things shitty, so this is for piece of mind during the shipping process.
I started school again to further my career, and I decided it would be fun to take a solidworks class to up my cnc game a bit. I apologize for the slow updates recently, things are getting busy for me. Feel free to msg me here if you have any questions. |

Thanks Hondo, we are almost at the finish line.
Sincerely appreciate everyone who is patiently waiting for this. I know the wait period has been ridiculously long. |

quick update on the whole process from here on out before it's completely finished.
Fixture/Jig for headers
Fixture/Jig for Mid pipe
Fixture/Jig for Collector
Headers are spec'd so production can start once fixture is done.
Mid pipe needs to be spec'd then production can start.
Collectors are spec'd so production can start once fixture is done.
Laser cutting flanges + finishing
Exhaust can is 3 parts:
-can
-baffle
-end cap
QA test, I plan on checking every single bend/angle/fitment
Brushed finish ( I can do mirror finish as well for addtional cost)
Laser engraving logo
Boxing/Packaging
Website
Installation video + instruction write up
After all that, we are done!
Longest/hardest parts are the collector and the can/muffler. We are hand making most of it with the assistance of some machines. I will strikeout the phases as they are completed so everyone knows where we are. Some of these things can be done simultaneously which I am, so it's not in a linear order. I know it seems like a lot, which it is, but we are talking about making a completely custom exhaust from scratch

Hey guys,
Collectors are still in production, these are taking a long time to make, but they are doing a great job.
So there's going to be a 2 week pause because they got a huge order from a big client of their's and my stuff got pushed back. The reason this is happening is so that I can sell the exhaust cheaper. I'm not final on the pricing yet, but it's more than I had hoped for...I'm now realizing why JayGui's exhaust is well over $1000.
So here is what I'm doing to off set costs:
1) Allowing them to push my stuff back when big orders come in, they are charging me significantly less than they would normally, which translate to lower cost for everyone else. This has happened twice already and I know it sucks, but it's worth it to bring the cost down.
2) I'm helping them at the shop doing remedial stuff and they are taking money off the labor portion of the exhaust. I'm basically working a 2nd job now to help to help offset the cost a bit because I have a price point in mind.
3) I also work on their website which includes product photos, graphic design, and forum support.
4) They have 2 big events coming up and I'm working out some details to help them out as a support crew to bring more of the cost down.
I know this is shitty, but this is all I can think of right now to bring the cost of the exhaust down. Hindle can sell their systems for $500-600 because they reuse parts from previous or other exhausts so the cost is spread around their products. Since this is my only product and I had to create it from scratch, I simply can't do that. It's been a rough couple of months but the thought of letting every down has kept me from quitting. I will keep going with this until the end and do my best to keep communication open here.
Thanks again for those sticking around, I can't say how much I appreciate it.

Chris, my next build is mostly still in the parts accumulation stage, so I'm sticking with you. By the time I'm ready to bolt on an exhaust, you'll have this all done and in production. Thanks for the update. |

I can't wait to see the final, seriously considering one of these. Keep pushing, anything worth doing is not always easy. |

Thanks for the words of encouragement everyone.
Mid pipe tooling and dies are being setup for the run. Work has stopped today because they have a big annual event starting tomorrow. I've been keeping tabs and bringing them food to grease a few elbows here and there and it's working. lol They are doing the best they can and that's all I can ask for. Timeline is 2weeks for midpipes to be finished, 1week for headers, and unknown for the exhaust can.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Nice, are you making the collectors as well or is this sourced from someone else?

We are making the collectors as well. They have to be made one by one because of the process so it's going to take the longest to finish. |

Thats also one of the most expensive parts of the whole thing. The cheapest Ive seen even a mild steel collector that's the correct size is $270 a piece.
The problem is the sizing. Big ole hot rod stuff can be had relatively cheap. |
