I have a couple of larger F items I want to ship.

I know there have been threads discussing the topic. I did a search and came up with no useful results.

Might it be worthwhile to consider making a sticky thread (or a sub-forum) for shipping methods, rating vendors, and costs?

I thought I'd throw it out there.

I had a set of CBX pipes shipped here decades ago. My wife's buddy worked at one of the national shipping concerns and I got the "box" shipped here for about $80.00

I have a couple motors and a few sets of pipes, but shipping quotes I've looked at seem ridiculously steep. I looked at LTL (less-than-load) for starters.

Does anyone have a favorite they'd like to share?

Tx,
Bill

Greyhound is a good alternative for large and not tooo heavy items.
Had a 1000C exhaust shipped from LasVegas to LA for 70 $ in a large box.
Cheers

That's a good idea and I don't know why it hasn't been suggested before now. A thread discussing shipping methods and vendors would be a helpful. Make it a sticky in the "Ford Sale" forum.
