Titanium exhaust, 35mm or 37 mm FCR carbs, that's a good start. Laughing

I definitely want a tail section with the lock box. The ti exhaust is an idea too.

Anything new you can probably get from Webike and get free shipping. If you have a friend or co-worker you can get used items off Yahoo Japan and avoid the extra fees from using Rinkya or Buyee will tack on. Use Chrome for the translation and search for '(Cb900f cb1100f cb750f)', keep in mind that 'Miller' are the mirrors and 'Sheet' are seats. Very Happy

The lidded tail cowls will be found in the 'Cowl, fender' category. There should be plenty but harder to find one with a US paint scheme.

The bad news is you are too late to save money, the dollar peaked last year and now everything is 20% more expensive. Sad

Exactly, no lock on it and it takes a special tail light bracket and hardware, all not part of this buy....

if you really want one, and are willing to spend the money to get one I can help. PM me. expect to spend near $100-200 shipped to you. Range is wide because you have to win the auction first then ship it from japan to me, than to you.

boy 6 weeks is enough time to do some serious damage. If it were me...I would really think about getting a container and filling it with bikes....specifically the two stroke gp bikes and other gray market oddities. You would likely be able to sell them during transit bc supply/demand. rgv, nsr, tzr, cbr250rr, gsxr400 etc maybe an authentic bozoku sohc (one day those will be worth something). As for individual parts, used keihin carbs may be cheaper in the land of jdm but remember to factor in replacement parts if necessary bc those get expensive quick, cb400s swing arms, shocks,

Their currency is really depressed right now and frankly they have been in a recession since the 90's ... so go to town and load up...who knows when you will get another chance. The Japanese do not have space or desire to garage their motorcycles so most of the them and the parts have lived a hard life outside and will likely be significantly corroded.

Go to the Woolworth Building in Manhattan and get your bullet train pass. Then you can visit every island and purchase it all.

Thanks for the info. and yah, usd/jpy was pretty hight last year. it'd be nice if we could get a little bump on usd/jpy or pln/jpy before we leave. i could use the discount.
