I had heard of the band but never listened to them. I figured I better have a listen. I did.
Man do these clowns SUCK !!!!!! And lemmy couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.

They were a fairly typical 70's hard rock band - the music isn't for everyone, but they had a following for sure and released many albums. They weren't my cup of tea.
It sounds like it was a miracle that he lived as long as he did. Supposedly he drank a bottle of Jack Daniels every day for years - his liver must have been toast. RIP, dude. |

Without Motorhead there would be no Metallica and they inspired a good few other bands as well.
Lemmy did the vocals on Silver Dream Machine by Hawkwind. He played bass with them from 72 - 75. |

Simon, you will be happy to know that Ace of Spades is now sitting in ninth spot on the UK charts this week. When it was first released in 1980 it reached fifteenth on the UK charts. Last time it was in the top 40 was 22 years ago. So there you go. |
