Ok, since the sell of my Evolution, I have been asked to take on a few builds for others, and so I have formed my own company named db Customs. Out of this, I am now an authorized dealer for OHLINS, SUDCO, and working on a few others (such as Carrillo, Galfer, Spiegler, OZ Wheels, etc).

Initially, my interest was to obtain the dealer licensing to ONLY support products for my personal client's builds, however I am now considering passing along some discounts to the site members here through group buys.

After discussing this with OHLINS, I can offer to the site the HO140 twin shock OHLINS for the DOHC CB-F for $665 USD + shipping. For this price, I would need to sell a minimum of 10 sets. These would be drop shipped directly to you from OHLINS. The MSRP on these are $863 USD.

NOTE, AT NO CHARGE, the springs will be selected specific to your bikes weight and your own weight and riding style, and will be delivered to you with the correct springs installed! In the past, these shocks were sold to those that have heavily modified their bikes to reduce weight. However, the springs that typically came with the shocks were for stock bike weight and to support two up riding, making the ride a bit harsh for street riding. Springs can be a choice between yellow, or black.

ALSO note that if you are interested in high dollar conventional 43mm upright OHLINS bling for your custom F, I can also offer these to you as well. Note however that these are in no way intended to fit right out of the box. You would be responsible for fitting them to custom triple clamps and wheels of your choice. Or, I eventually will be offering a service to put together wheel, fork, and triple clamp packages for the F on a case-by-case basis. You will have to email me to discuss that however.

I am also looking at group buys for Keihin CR round slide carbs for the 750-900-1100F. However, if there was a greater interest in FCR's for the 900-1100F, I would investigate the quantities required to pass along maximum discounts. I will have the pricing packages available soon on these.

Feel free to PM me or reply to this thread to express interest.

Amazing what doors open when you follow the passion!

This is great to be able extend these deals to this forum. I'll be tuned in for more offerings.

Corbin gunfighters on the horizon?

Best of luck with the builds.

Nah, considered it but they only want to deal with long established businesses that will be able to bring them immediate sales in large quantities Rolling Eyes

+1 on FCR pricing. Would probably be interested in another set of Ohlins too if there's some space between the two buys.

I was wondering Chris how long it would take for you to get back in the game dude. A few weeks is good, that shows great restraint and patience!!!!!

I'm interested in the carbs. They would be a nice upgrade to my blue 1100F resto-mod. Please keep us posted and thanks for doing this.

Pencil me in for carbs for my 985. See how my builds treat me.

Every day I dream of quitting my day job to focus more on bikes. I just don't feel safe enough to make the leap.

I'm curious about the FCR's for an 1100. I can't commit to them at this point, just curious. When I looked into them a few months ago I was told they weren't available in North America. If they were, price depending, I may be interested.

Keep us posted.

I'd be down for a set of Ohlins. Sign me up.

I'll also be buying carbs in a few months here, not sure how soon you're looking at getting a GB for those together.

I am very interested in a set of CRs for my 985. What is the recommended size for a 985 for street riding? Will there be an option for them to come with the correct filter pods?

Regards,

Chris

Well it has to be a group purchase all at once .... some are looking to buy sooner than later, and some are not.

Looks like SUDCO wont be bringing in FCR's anytime soon in any size.

I am looking to becoming a registered dealer with Webike Japan, so I might be able to pass along some discounts on FCRs going that route. It's not a huge priority right now for me but will keep it as an option.

Here is a list of everyone interested in Keihin CR-S's, the parentheses indicate the size in mm's:

n8n8n8 (31's), tomk1960 (33's), Sebspeed (31's), Bone (31's), psychodad (33's), toronto78, jcooper, casper1978, and nugget.

For those without parentheses beside your name, please indicate the size of your engine so I can determine the carb size you need.

Here is a list of everyone interested in OHLINS:

psychodad, n8n8n8, swede0030, jcooper, A4v8swap, F-crazy. and nugget.

That makes 7, we need 3 more.

Also note, the CR-S's will come as jetted as recommended by SUDCO for your engine, assuming you have an aftermarket exhaust. Like any carb, depending on your location and elevation and the condition of your engine (compression, etc), these will likely need to be "fine tuned". In most experiences (but not all) with CR-S's it is usually the pilot jet that needs to be adjusted to clean up the mid range.

It would have to be 33mm CR-S, as stated above SUDCO can not source the FCR's any longer as Keihin has decided the demand isn't there. I will add you to the list.
