cbxdog memorial fund - final total donation is $3783.44!

I guess I am on the hook and happy to help. Here is what I propose, let me know if you have some better ideas to incorporate.

- send any donations to me using PayPal (my forum email address is good for this) and indicate they are for cbxdog
- 100% of all funds collected will be sent to Chris for use as she see fit
- rather than be open ended, donations will be collected for a fixed period (so don't procrastinate)
- since multiple forums might be involved, please identify yourself by forum and screen name so I can properly credit everyone
- please indicate if you wish your donation to be identified as anonymous
- the amount of any donation will remain private, I'll publish a total at the end so you know how we did

Hopefully that covers everything. I will wait a day or two for any comments/suggestions and then get this kicked off.

First I wish to thank all who have helped so far, we are north of US$1700 as of this morning.

For those who have made a donation for Larry, I am sending email acknowledgements so you know I received it but for some reason Paypal isn't at full speed as I found three donations in my account this morning that I have not yet received emails. If I can figure out it out I'll send a PM so you know it was received, otherwise feel free to contact me in a day or two in case PayPal doesn't get caught up.

In such a difficult time for all of us, the true character of our friendships and community are revealed. This is such a terrible situation and the support and generosity from all of the members here and other forums is a testimony to how much Larry was a part of all of our lives at so many levels. Like others, Larry and I bought, sold and exchanged a variety of parts and my bike has several of them on it today.

I was able to attend my first CB-F ride event this last spring and Larry's greeting to me was so welcoming that I felt a ease with my new surroundings right away. We had several conversations and I am thankful to have been able to meet Larry in person.
