I couldn't make it this year. Will Brint is riding a CBX (#118) in Vintage Superbike Heavyweight. Kim Muhr is riding a mostly stock CB750F (x55). I gave her a set of 900F cams and a some valves after she had a cam chain jump time (don't remember why) a couple of years ago at Barber. |

I wasn't planning on going to the races (work), but I would be more then happy to buzz over there to meet up. I'm available Sat night later and anytime sunday. Let me know if I should look forward to a ride. *If* I did go to the race, it would be Sunday.

I logged in last week to see if any of the DOHC folks were going but I missed this. Did you end up going? It was a great day and there were a bunch of cool bikes to look at. I don't recall seeing any F's though. |

I ended up going Sunday afternoon as my morning plans got rained out. It turned out to be a nice day in the afternoon.
I have to say, I know Saturday was the big day for this event, but even Sunday afternoon was great. It's the week after the MotoAmerica/AMA superbike double header at Road America, which used to be a big event. I've gone to the superbike weekend almost every year since Freddie, Eddie, and Wes tore up the track.
I have to say that the vintage stuff has become more entertaining and fun. Way more bikes, way better access, just a totally different feeling. I brought my two boys ages 6 and 9 to it and they loved it. We were in the paddock with bikes all around us.
I'm thinking that this is going to become my "must see" weekend, and the AMA/Motoamerica will become a "if I get time".
I'll be there next year for sure!

Yep, my boys and I rode up Saturday morning,,,it was an awesome day of racing!!!
Once I figure out how to post videos, I will.
It did rain Sunday morning till about 11:30 then the sun came out and the racing was on!
I did think most people skipped the Sunday races as it was pretty much deserted when we left at 3:30...
