Had a test ride last week at the local dealer. Got it all the way to 90kph. The run to about $3900.00 here. My 750F cost me $2600.00 new.
Yes they are kinda fun.

I was looking at them at the dealership the other day. He had two and said that the red one was only one that made it to the floor without being pre-sold and said I could walk out with it for 3200.00. And he was right I probably could have just picked it up and thrown it into the trunk of my car. But there is a little issue I have in that if I am buying this thing as a city bike... i would be running errands and grabbing groceries around the city and then taking it up the elevator and parking it in the hallway of my building... But the grom is 150cc and has multiple gears (not qualifying as a scooter) and the sales guys were convinced that the cops were smarter than I was giving them credit and said it would definitely need to be registered and plated if I were to ride it in town. So... These guys are going to boatloads of fun in a year or two when they start hitting craigslist in the 1k range.

I saw that video as well last week and I've been geeking online finding all the mods and kits for these. Bore kits to make it a 150cc and a 185cc I believe, power commanders with autotune and even friggin' turbos.
Would be fun if one had money to play around with.

I used to terrorize Newbury when I lived there back in the 80's on my 1100f and VF1000r. Would be more fun on the Grom. Would've fit on the elevator in my building too.
I miss some of the sights I used to see on Newbury st.
