Well Blizzard came from where I grew up. In northern Ontario (Timmins) where there are only 2 seasons.Winter and almost winter. More snow storms or "Blizzards" you can count.I've had the nickname Blizzard since i was a little kid. and the 0002...well you can look at it 2 ways.... 2 for how many f's I own or 0002 backwards is how many cc's I have on both bikes combined....take your pick.

Nitro.....yummmmm ....nothing in the world can compare to standing in the staging lanes behind a topfuler blasting off..I used to go to every race i could, i spent every nickle i had on drag cars, and i still love the smell...I blew up a few engines with it..I even tried it in 2 stroke sleds! (bad idea)
I got covered in it..I used to love the sound, but I is basically deaf because i was too stupid to wear plugs way back when!
I have a jar of it in the house that Big daddy autographed for me when he last won indy! My buddies all laugh when they see it...I debate every yr bout dumping it in something and cooking it!!

beside..the guys gave the name it to me years ago because ....what else can i pick!

Nothing too complicated here...
I like the balanced, symmetrical look of a dual exhaust. The double S is of course, Super Sport.

I drove buses to put myself through college. The 4 am shift. Would get up, tie a bandana around my head, grab the smelliest clothes I could find, get a chew, and got scare the crap outta my riders. I got a bit of a reputation.

But every year at Christmas, I would get the mid day shifts on campus due to exam schedules and dress as Santa. No one would believe it was me. My girlfriend said I was Satan. I thought that was a little rough, and it got changed to Damien, but since I am really easygoing and the rest is an act, everyone said it was backward.

I am of Scottish-Irish descent thus my last name McCall. When I was in college in the early 80's the game Pacman was popular, and I got pinned with the nicname "Macman" because I used to eat alot while in college.

Mine also is not very original. sleep

The "83" of course symbolizes the CB1100F, not the year I was born. That was 1968

I used to login on forums back when Compuserve was in fashion... at that time - I was in college, thought I'd grow up to be a daytrader... never made much money at it. Lots of guys used handles like trader??? and started using traderbob - ended up having to add the NC - 'cause I'm in North Carolina and it stuck. Not making much money in the market now. But that doesn't keep me from still trying. I finally wised up and went into Information Technology to pay the bills.

Thats Mr Flapjack to you.

In college I worked as the dormitory steward in charge of the commissary. Part of the job was to do the breakfast cooking as necessary and run all the barbecues and also run pancake breakfasts as the dorm fund raisers.

So I would take on one of two personas while cooking, Mr Flapjack for breakfast food. Mr. Charmglow (remember the grills). Flapjack stuck. Funny how people here call me Flap. It always gets shortened to Flap. My father in law stilll calls me Flap.

For the most part I use it on the web, casue its ususally unique enough to stand alone and not get the number add on like Flapjack 185 .

Another no brainer nick name here too. Called myself newbie because basically that is what I am! Very Happy

Started out riding last season for the first time on a little Kawasaki Z250C. A the end of the season I took the plunge and brought myself a Honda CB900F 81 and decided that as I am still beginner with hardly any experience of big fast monster bikes I'd best call myself newbie so people would see that I'm a beginner to biking plus tha fact that I'm still a fairly young pup being only 21.

Looking forward to many years of companionship with my CB900F and so far on the free rides I've had with her she's been very forgiving to my clumpish ways and rock steady on the road!

Here's too many more years of safe riding!

Along the way in college I picked up the "er" onto the end of my name to make up "Luker" as a nickname (today it would probably have become "Lukester" )

Anyway, my Step-Son & Daughter began calling me "Luker after I married their mom " (when they just couldn't call me "Dad", etc) and now all of my Grandkids all call me "Papa" so evolved the "PapaLuker".

BTW... My Step kids both call me "Dad" now! Laughing which of course makes PapaLuker very happy Laughing

When I first signed on to the (Old) board, I just used 'gordjones'.
Then I met Glenn at the 1st New England (North East) ride just after I bought my current cb900/1100f hybrid with all sorts of odd parts and no bodywork and purple fenders which I affectionately named RAT.

So I convinced our esteemed leader to change my 'handle' to RAT Cool

She's a little more presentable now but the name is comfortable and still a fair description Razz

Gord Very Happy

She will be attending the 2nd annual N/E Ride, 1st W/E in June if you'd like to meet her in person. Joyrides at her discretion. Twisted Evil

And if I'm really lucky she'll be at the Hoot too.

I am a big Sci Fi fan of fantasy books. Read a series called Thieves World. in one of the books, the guy who rules over of the Dream realm is named Askelon. Not having the books in front of me I misspelled it and this kind of stuck. I am know the internet over as Askalon. If you see a post, it was probably me as only a few places it was already taken.

A guy that went with me to the drags started calling me sonic after Sonic the Hedgehog because my hair looked like that after a day's racing. The heat and humidity combined with being scrunched inside a helmet does nothing for your hair.

One race at Atlanta the bike spun,hooked-up,and shot me straight across the track into the concrete wall. I went over the wall and rolled into the camera man/track photographer. I needed a name no one else would have, hence sonicrete.

Blainethemono

A.I. Monorail that inhabits Stephen Kings world of Roland the Gunslinger, & The Wastelands.....Its passengers must answer impossible riddles or face death....

In a dying world of the future, Blaine crisscrosses the desolation of Earth(?)...... insane, out of control and deadly....

Riddle me THIS, Blaine....

"If you break me, I'll not stop working. If you can touch
me, my work is done. If you lose me, you must find me with a ring soon after.... "

THE HUMAN HEART

Blaine is a PAIN......

When Blaine the Mono blammed overhead, running up the night like a bullet running up the barrel of a gun, windows broke, dust sifted down, and several of the skulls disintegrated like ancient pottery vases. Outside, a brief hurricane of radioactive dust blew up the street, and the hitching-post in front of the Elegant Beef and Pork Restaurant was sucked into the squally updraft like smoke. In the town square, the Candleton Fountain split in two, spilling out not water but only dust, snakes, mutie scorpions, and a few of the blindly trundling turtle-beetles.

Mine is a pseudo creative concoction of my family name:

Ga - Gary (me)
Ju - Julie (wife)
Daw - Dawn (family name)

Been contemplating changing it to another more pseudo creative concoction of my family name. And now that Court has shown us the light I might give it a try. Cool Very Happy
