Hey guys. Does anybody have a sure-fire easy method for getting the rubber dust covers back onto the heim joints? I've had to walk away from it a few times now. I don't want to tear another one.Thanks.

If the covers are NEW , grease them then use a mini pliers with smooth jaws . Reach down in and grab the edge and streach over the ball part . I've probably put on 30-40 of them .

I've never had any luck putting back on used covers, just not enough stretch without tearing. The come off OK but not back on

A little heat before the wrasslin' might make them more pliable.
I use a hair dryer on carb boots and that helps. Even drop your covers in hot water would probably help.

The dust covers were already greased but heating them up and using a small needlenose did the trick. Didn't even rip the old one. Thanks again for the suggestions.
