You know what my wife just said about my bike?

If I only had one motorcycle it would not have a fairing. They are very nice on long rides. The Hondaline fairing is heavy but well designed. The bike is also fairly well balanced with the fairing and I think Honda must have setup the bike from the start to work well with this fairing.

Flap, if what Stout tells me is true, and coming from him it almost always is, there are NO black lowers available, ANYWHERE.....

So keep mine in mind.....Like I said, I have some other fairing parts lying around too...like a windshield or 2..... fair shape. But Silver has brand new ones for around $180 American!!! Shocked

Quick, I leave it up to David Silver to come up with the p/ns, I just send him the fairing fish and let him figure it out... Rolling Eyes

Email them, ask for Kieth, he should know what your talking about...

The replacement for my 900f Fairing windshield from Gustafsaon is enroute as I write this..... I will post pics as soon as it arrives... Laughing

Hey, CB1100Fer, your collection causes more reactions than Viagra and Levitra combined!

As for me, my '81 CB750K with it's 'barn door' Windjammer is my choice for a long ride in uncertain weather. After an army and post office career, I've had enough exposure to the weather. Besides, my CB1100F and GT750M are just too pretty to ride in rain....

That was my point all along. For the amount of money invested in a new exotic, you can own several of the F's and still come out ahead.

IMHO I think that most farrings make these bikes ugly, but Im a bare bones bike kind of guy, alot of power and an open road. Twisted Evil

if I wanted a touring bike I would buy a goldwing. No offence to those who like them Very Happy

Funny you should say that! A couple of days ago I was talking bikes with a friend. We are both in our late 50s. He mentioned something about someday maybe buying a GoldWing and I replied that when that day arrives for me, I'll buy a Miata, Honda S2000 or something like that. About the same as a GoldWing to me , but way more comfortable. Exclamation

Had you been a young adult in the early 70's you would have known this one.... Honda S2000 was a very cool fast two seater sports car of the day...Sorta like a Japanese version of a Triumph Spitfire, Austin Healy 2000, etc.... But you might not remember them either.... Wink

Papa, you are starting to loose it a little. The Honda S2000 is the current top of the line Honda sportscar being sold today. Totally decked out as a drivers car, even has a button to push for the starter. I believe the 2000 you are thinking of would be the Datsun 2000 Roadster which replaced the 1600 Roadster. Excellent car in its day.

Tambri, would you be refering to the M-B that had the gullwing type doors? One of those today would more than cover your retirement.
