Carb Kit on Ebay

Really need to get onto this job as the bike runs like a bucket of...
I know there has been some discussion on these but most of the time I don't know what you guys are saying - sorry dumb mechanical guy here (but learning).

This is the sort of kit I thought would do me? I bet no one has ever pulled my carbs apart before - going by the state the 1100 was in.
Has anyone used this kit? Is this what I should use? Do I need to replace the jets or reuse the originals?

Hello Harris,I would replace the jets also but check the size! Overhere we have for example Keyster for carbrevisionsets.But they cost twice the price I see there on ebay!
So I am curious wen you order what your experience is with these sets.

A place over east - motorcycle spares warehouse sells the correct kit for the aussie 1100, but they are close to $40 each. The cruzin image kits are very cheap but I can't help but wonder about the accuracy of the jets etc. If you buy a set let us know your experience.

Also remember the carby bodies probably need ultrasonic cleaniing to clean out all the small passages for the carbs to work properly. I bought an ultrasonic cleaner from fleabay for a couple of hundred which takes 2 boldor carbs at a time (so you do not have to split the individual carbs off the rails).

For carb parts, check out Randakks Cycle Shakk.
The quality of his stuff was top notch for my GL1000.
I'm sure his kits for the F bikes are as good.

These look like rebox K&L kits.....
You will need these and the Randaak kits to do a
knock out job......
The K&L kits have everything but the float needle and jet needles
are junk....
They do include new idle mixture screw components though......
But the O-Ring are mid grade as well...
The Randaak stuff is quality....but not everything is included in his kits....
although all of Randall's rubber components are forever viton....

Combine the kits.....clean them well....and rock on....
