That bike is AWESOME. But I can't see doing all of that caliber of work and not painting the horns. I would say that they were one of the last parts put on the bike and they forgot to refurbish them. Still a very nice bike.

Whilst I ave to admit i have a deep liking for the CB models i think there are a lot of great naked's out there from the late 70's and early 80's. I think the real killer for modern bikes is that the engines are no longer built to be seen but hidden away so they automatically look crap when fairings and the like are taken off and in addition they all need humongous radiators and the like to keep them cool. I know honda tried it with the new 1100F but it just didnt look right. If sanctuary can do this with 30+ year old bikes why cant the big bike dealers.. i dont want a 200mph rocket i want a fast rideable street bike that looks the business. Oh well we will just have to leave it to folks like us and custom bike builder.

It's interesting that they used a XJR1200 fork here instead of the conventional style Ohlins I have seen on several of their other bikes.
I made an inquiry to Ohlins U.S.A about one of those forks, and they said they weren't available, and referred me to Ohlins Japan.
My guess is those Ohlins forks are NLA anywhere. |
