A beautiful bike, Harris.
I bet it sounds great with the Akro exhaust.
Have you got a pic showing the bikini fairing? |

That should get a thumbs up from any CBX enthusiast.
nicely done.
that's one of those timeless paint schemes. Looked good in 1979, Still looks good, even on a modern bike 30+ years later. |

smurdoch - It doesn't have that fairing on it now. I found these pics online looking for bikes with same paint job & learnt that this is a one off custom.

Thanx Chris - My turn to make you jealous, it was your 11 & me being envious that prompted me change my 11 to Blue!!
Thanx guys - Yeah I've been after one for quite a while & this one was cheap even by our standards. |

Well its must have been kerocowboy's- I searched & searched for the paint scheme in Japan & around the globe,
then figured it's a custom paint job making this 13 unique!!
The rain has stopped & I will be travelling tomorrow (Saturday) to pick "Kerry" up, finally, its been a long wait. |

Anybody else upset that Honda does not make that bike available everywhere?
You want a powerful, bike it has to be a damn crotch rocket with the stink bug seating position. Not a regular seating position. Next version is Fakey Davidson decent seating and NO power.
They make an upright bike they are determnied to cut its nuts out and make it 900 to 1000cc.
1300cc will be a nice ride. Beautiful by the way. |

Thanx Bill.
Yup sure is nice to ride - picked it up today & took the long way home - an extra 3 hours
It likes to sit at 120kmh / 75mph through the corners - everywhere.
Five gears - no need to change down when passing - give it a good twist in 5th when passing & reach 130/140kmh 82/88mph as I get back into my lane.
The front brakes are amazing grab a hand full & hang on!!
Is alot quicker than my CB1000 & of course just eats the 1100F.
Seemed to require alot more cornering angle to get round corners that I know well,
maybe cause I'm going faster but I don't think so.
Will get some pictures up soon & a video of the exhaust note for Chris...
Pic from my cell today - first thing to go is that screen.

Ok guys I can do you a favour - I have seen these go for a low as $5500NZD / $4300USD - Who wants one?
I can look into the freight to probably the nearest port LA?
You pay for it - I buy it - you pay the freight - I ride it to the port of departure!
Same deal as my CB1000SF Big One - who wants it $3200USD & its all yours. |

Very nice bike Harris, always loved that paint scheme! At first I thought I would have liked the black line to continue over the front guard, but now I not so sure, Hmm nice looking bike. |
