Thats a good shot Peter...
Those are the proper lowers for the rear sets, unlike the ones where the toes are cut out for the US style "forward" controls..

Done. Except for polishing the windscreen and tucking the wiring in a little bit more. Put about 50 miles on today and everything stayed where it should have.

I have to say it looks pretty good, better than I expected! Ride safely, now!

PETE ,it looks really good. makes me miss my cb1100f. if you are looking for different windscreens, look at the SABER another honda that came with the hondaline fairing, i think the screen on the SABER was taller. this is the same fairing that came with the 81/82 CBX. I KNOW THE POCKETS WERE DIFFERENT BUT THE SCREEN IS THE SAME. THEREFORE ANY AFTERMARKET TALLER OR SHORTER WINDSCREEN FOR THE CBX WILL FIT.

RIFLE and GUSTUFFSEN ( NOT SURE ABOUT SPELLING BUT THEY ARE IN FLORIDA ) both do aftermarket items. the GUSTUFFSEN is much like the original except taller. the rifle is a 2 piece design.

PETE I HAVE A FREE GIFT FOR YOU IF YOU BRING THAT BIKE UP AND LET ME HAVE A RIDE.

FEE

That looks great : the F2's were standard options in the UK and there used to be lots of them around - streetfighter craze and old age has done for most of them - it looks good : lack of familiarity always makes the US market 1100 look "odd" to me with that eurostyle CX fairing...(closest we got in this market ha.ha.ha.....)

I just replaced the old, oranged screen on my F2D with a new one from www.skidmarx.co.UK . If you check out the Honda pages they list a STD. One and a taller/flip one for the same sort of price. They can do all sorts of tints or colours, if that floats your boat.
