this part/tool was in the box of parts that came with my F:

Does anyone know what it is? It was NIB and I opened the plastic for the inspection. I looked around on MotionPro and Google imaged searched and haven't turned up anything. If it is something obvious go easy on me, I'm still a total noob when it comes to motorcycle maintenance. Laughing

It's an aftermarket center stand stop - bolts to the rear peg mount. Used when replacing the stock exhaust with a 4-1.

Very nice, thanks for the info. Smile
This must've been intended to be used with the V&H 4-1 that is on my bike but the previous owner has removed the center stand and the bike only has the kick stand on it. That leads me to two additional questions: Did these bikes come with both the center and kick stands on them? And did the pictured part come with the 4-1 pipes as a part of the install kit or was it purchased separately?

These are the parts that come with a Vance and Hines Supersport pipe:

Actually Pontiac, it is a bottle opener, an essential tool for when you buddies come over to help you put the engine back in.
