Fugly. Only 3 grand more than a CBR-1000 RR and half the power. But is could be a nice scooter if it were half the price. |

It's a pass for me as well. Not getting very good reviews from the MC rags. Poor riding position, not much ground clearance. I think it looks kind of cool, but I don't really see the point of this machine. |

Ah, the return of the Honda-matic. Well, not quite. I do see a market for it for people graduating from scooters, but only if they sold it for about half that price. Or for someone with a disability that makes shifting difficult. (I was considering the ST1300AE model if I couldn't manage to shift after my accident. Or, more likely, putting an electric shifter onto a less expensive bike) |

I saw it at the bike show. looks good. nice bike for the young'uns or the wife. no sign of the new f at the show last saturday. Honda guy acted or maybe not an act like he didn't know what i was talking about. Harley abandoned the show, somebody mumbled something about selling parts for harley davidsons at the show or something. test rides were there but didn't feel like waiting for a ride on a Ducati, didn't want a ride on a harley or a kawasucki. $27 for 2 rice bowls and 2 soda for lunch, would have been $24 to get in for 2 of us except progressive e-mail cupon got me $3 each off. Suzuki td650 still an awesome ride. Went to the gun show on Sunday, bought some ammo for the upcomming socialist takeover next month. Merry F'in Christmas to all and good luck thru next year. |

"Crossover" is right, can't decide what it is... Honda trying to be everything to everyone. I'll pass, even at half the price. I think I'll go for a quick ride on the 900. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, everyone! |

Sorry but I just can't get into it. I'm too set in the F's style that anything else that's on the market just isn't as nice. There is something about the F styling that says fast but doesn't have to say "Look at me!" |

Honda is too busy with "trickshititeous" to even make anything even faintly resembling a good motorcycle.
If you have a bike with the handlebars set that far rear ward from the steering stem, you made crap. On a sharp turn say in a parking lot at slow speed, the bar on the inside of the turn can be "past" bike centerline. This means if/when it goes to fall over you do not have even a chance to keep it upright,ie no leverage.
Meanwhile Harley Davidson can make regular looking motorcycles and use basically the same engine in all of them. The Japanese great ideas are to copy Harley in looks. Just wish they would make what they were good at,making PERFORMANCE bikes that look like bikes. |

Yea, I sat on the thing at the International Motorcycle show.
In my opinion, even when sitting on the thing it can't make up
it's mind what it is.
I agree, the Honda guy that I asked about the F coming stateside
looked at me and said "huh"?
I told him about it and he went "OH" No.
What is it that sports people say "Wait 'til next year"! |

It seems that someone must have liked it in the development process, else how would it have made it to production. Makes me wonder who participates in the process? Honda would not throw money into this product without some reasonable anticipation of Return on Investment... I wouldn't buy one, but I bet some will. Anxiously awaiting the first time I "run into" one on the road. Wonder what the new owners reaction will be when I tell him (or her, I suppose) my opinion. Oh well, I've been hit before! |
