well. lessee... Im known as Blu on some boards ,and that came about some time from when I was a truck driver.
I had always tried to greet folks with a smile, and one time I was delivering to one of my regulars and he said "Well here comes the ol Bluebird of happiness hisself"
Well I kinda liked that, so I changed my CB handle to Indy Blubird (to let folks kinda know where I was from) then I became known to my freinds as Blu (a little different take on Blue)
And, I pride myself as being an honest, and VERY loyal guy to freinds, brands, things I like (like Honda) so...TruBlu was born.
It also fits realyl well as im a Indy Colts fan (and message board member there too) as well.
Thats all folks |

I have a soft spot for Gorillas. Now maybe if I met one in a bad mood i'd think differently. I dont really know why I have a soft spot. That case recently where a bunch of gorillas got slaughtered enraged me more than I can tell you. Maybe I should see a therapist. Anyway, that's my story. |

Recently took off on my first journey at building a complete custom bicycle frame. finished it a year ago and have since put better than 1k miles on it. Also i will cut, chop, weld together damn near anything. btw. my sp101's name is lucky, and my nickname in real life is Astro. I was into vanning and drove Astro's exclusively. 1.25 million miles worth. real names Chris though |

My Dad gave me mine,
I used to run, alot (Hood to Coast, Portland road races etc.)...I weighed about 135 pounds at 5'7" then I started pumping iron.
I went from 135 pounds to 230 pounds, 32" waist and 8% body fat. My Dad hadn't seen me for about a year and was a tad startled when he saw me (no shit).
He then started calling me Stumpie cause I looked like a tree trunk, well, that's what he says......still! |

I live in Maine ( often residents of my state are called Maineiacs, also made popular as the nick for the air refueling wing in Bangor for the Air National Guard )
It also happens to describe my driving style in my Toyota, but not the way I ride my prized F bike...!

Mines a literary reference. It's from a short story by Reginald Bretnor called 'Mrs Pigafetta Swims Well'. We used to have a cat called Cakey Pig because it looked like a pig and liked to steal cake. The name sort of evolved into Pigafetta after I read the book. I used to write a lot of music and we had a tune called 'Pigafetta Says...' I used the name when I set up my email address (it wouldn't let me use Dave) and it's just sort of followed me around for years. Im quite fond of it now.

This was a good Idea. There are some pretty cool stories behind some of the user names. |

My name was given to me by my friend Dan. We where seniors (1980) in high school, and on the varsity football team. The football coach needed a field goal and point after kicker so he had us all try to kick field goals . After I kicked the ball Dan said, "look its a Tom kicker" then with in seconds it was shortened to "Atomic" I'm still called that to this day.

My kids were young and couldn,t pronounce "Bruce". So my buddy kept prodding them and it turned into "breets". I first signed on as breets in oct 2006 but in 2007 my computer crapped and I could not log in. I added my age and.....

When I was a teenager I worked summers in a machine shop doing odd n end jobs. One of the first places they put me was the de-burring dept. Old man Gus ran that department and he labeled me Izzy from the day we met, so Izzy has been a nick name since. |

This is a 1964 Chevy Cheetah race car only about 16 built.
Made to beat the cobra. Clocked at Daytona in 1964 at 215 MPH
Small block chevy car weighed in at just over 1500 lbs.
They could not get enough made to compete directly against the cobra,
and had to settle for C-modified class.
There logo was Cheetahs always Win.
Shortened it to Cheetahwins

^^ VERY cool!
Mine's pretty self explanitory. Most of my two-wheeled time is spent on a 250 2-stroke Enduro. Jananiese ones are going by the wayside of the F. Honda was always the 4st Enduro company of choice, but I did race a CR250 back in the day when I rode A LOT faster in the woods. Honda MXers have always had sweet suspensions. |
