i didnt want a stock restoration but ..well im close to road ready... a few items like a new seat cover and left side cover and she will be out burning up the beach here in myrtle beach lmk what you guys think.. and it was done with spray bombs

I'm a fan of original scheme myself but that color combo's not too bad except the tank decal. Where did you find that? To each his own Wink

It looks sharp, I think. You have a good eye for detail. The only part that seems wrong is the tank decal. Kind of looks like it is in the wrong spot.

as long as its able to be ridden i suppose. Smile

but i agree that the tank decal is in the wrong place. maybe 3 inches up and 6 inches to the right.

I don't have a problem with the tank decal although maybe higher and more forward on the tank. with a 3d effect

You forgot the clutch cover when you were painting the engine. I really like the look of the engine and headers though. What paint did you use? I'd be interested to know how it holds up.

thanx guys,
for all the coments so far.i didnt paint the clutch cover yet as i was still farting with the cable.. running lube through it and it was dripping right on the cover.. but as sooon as i am done and road ready it will get a coat of paint..
and its High Heat 1200 degree paint from Advanced Auto, not grill paing though.. its maid for
headers and exhaust Id love to go flat black all the way around not a fan of chrome

I dig it. If you want a simple solution to doing your own seat cover, let me know. No sewing, only a drill and pop rivits or screws.
