Hi Guys:

Thanks for some of you checking in on me the past couple of weeks...

I'm doing fine now after about 7 months of miscellaneous (age related) medical issues that have caused significant life-style changes, etc...

I really miss the "F"ing, but those days seem to be behind me as I find my reaction times and judgment to be deteriorating enough to discourage the type of riding I was happiest doing on the 1100! In other words, I liked to go fast but don't think it is safe anymore... (was it ever?)

I could never replace the last 4 years of buying, building, trading information, riding and selling these bikes and parts: And... more importantly, the camaraderie I felt with many of you, even though we have never met in person..

I believe that the bikes I built and sold made each of you who bought them happy...In each case I gave it my best, I hope it was good enough!!

I had hoped to get all of the remaining "F" parts in my garage sorted out and put up for you guys 1st before they go on eBay, but my energy hasn't been there to make it a priority... I have sold an occasional part or 2 as I ran across them here and there. Now that I'm feeling better, I hope to get this done within the next 30 days...

So... not at 67 years+ old, I'm relegated to the comfortable Corbin seat on my '94 HD Deuce (not such as "dog" as Jaime would suggest) which suits me fine. I also still have the little Yamaha XT225 but it doesn't get much use...

Again, thanks for the inquiries... I'll pop back in once in awhile to check -in to make sure everyone is still kicking..

papa

...and if you EVER need ANYTHING, you do NOT hesitate to contact any of us soCal'ers..... even if it is to tow your Harley somewhere.

I DO have an extra F lying around just in case.

Nice to hear from you Luke, hope all is well. I would post some pictures of your final master piece here too but I wouldn't want to make the owners of any earlier sales jealous Laughing

Hey Papa...glad to hear your doing well. Hope to hear from you time to time...cuz, I think I speak for most of us here....You are one of the original F'ers and can stop in any time...even if you ride a HD.
