Bought the Ontario Moto Tech header new in 1983 and had been installed for 16 yrs until 1999.
Put the stock pipes on for the last 8 years for something of a different look.
I reconditioned the header a little. Found some great header paint and it matches the original color of the Kal-Gard Black Chrome Header Kote which was used on the OMT's back in the day.
Now it's time again to hear the sweet sound it makes.

Very nice looking header. That should indeed sound sweet. Another way to freshen up a relationship huh? |

Yeah, your right. It sounds terrible, especially when it's singing to me at higher rpm's.
I'll let you know |

Finally had the time to put it on.
It seems pretty quiet below 5k, but open it up from there and it brings back sweet memories.
I believe it has a sound of it's own compared to other pipes on the 900F.

That pipe looks sweet. Fits nice and close. Do you have to remove it for oil changes? |

No, don't have to remove it for oil filter/drain plug access. |

Yeah, I was thinking of having the wife hold the video camera sitting on the back while I run through some gears. I might try that and post the results.
