Raasks are sweet;
They have a very nice peg position and are (normally) a simple bolt-on. They do take a bit of getting used to, but they are nicely constructed and make gear shifts a real 'snick-snick' operation. They have an added benefit in that they do not use the lower engine mount bolt. Makes things easier if you have to pull the engine on the side of the road .
They're still available new (I think) so you could always price up a new set for comparison ( http://www.rearsets.info/rearsets.html ). I believe Omar's is not able to supply the rear pegs like the ones in the eBay auction so that may have an impact on price. |

I have a set of Raask rear sets I got in a fair trade with powerroy, I think Roy screwed himself trading straight up , he should have asked for money too because I love them.

My blue bike came from the factory in full red regalia and is still all red at heart.
She is a Honda after all and red is the color of champions
The bike runs perfectly and is faster than she needs to be for the street. |

Sorry to hi-jack Lurch.
The Raask areworth changing to. I have two set and one replace a euro set. I find the riding position more comfortable.
This set has the solid pegs, looks cleaner than the rubber covered pegs.
At $300 I would look at new sets from Omar's, having said that I paid more for a used set several years ago. The other set cost 50 euros but the pegs aren't as nice(rubber cover) and it was welded to fix a break.

omar's want 295.00 for a set without rear pegs ,without brake pivot and no lower mounting bolt. 300.00 for mine is a bargain . you just can't get them more complete for cheaper.

Fee, if I needed another set a I would be bidding in the last few seconds, like I said I paid more for a set and it wasn't this complete.
This is a good set-up and shipping is practically local. Shipping and taxes out of Europe always add a big chunk to the price.
When you get to this price level buying new is an option, it will still cost considerably more than the current price to get the full set-up you have but it is worth thinking about. |

i agree new is also an option but my reserve was met at 300.00 and i don't think they'll go much higher ( if any) .i put my reserve at the same price as a new not so complete set and figure they were some what of a deal at 300.00 and i am happy with that price. i still have another set with the passenger pegs but will keep those for myself untill i sell all the bikes
thanks
