Hello boys, I'm back.

I just nabbed F #3 off Craigslist. '82 900F with Honda fairing, Corbin's Gunfighter and Lady w/backrest, two tanks and a stock seat that appears to have spent the vast majority of it's life on a shelf.

Stock tank was replaced for rust, new tank rusted before he got around to finishing it. I suspect that I'll be able to put on my tank and fire it up.

If so, I'll go through all the fluids, put on my best set of wheels and engine covers and be off and running. It also came with a can of color matched paint. The decals are faded and damaged, I might strip all the body work and go to just silver.

Who's got the best deal on a replacement windscreen these days?

Stuck it in the shop at work yesterday, told myself I would tinker time-permitting over the next couple of weeks.

Went in to the office tonight to catch a few things up before the week starts... I won't go out in the shop... I won't go out in the shop... mmmmaaaaaayyyyybbbbbbeeeeeee I could just slip in the new battery and fill the bowls with gas to see if it will fire, that will help me concentrate.

Of course this is like a drunken game of 'just the tip,' so long story short I can say that it accelerates way too fricken fast for a bike with only 30% brake capacity (good thing the highways are empty here on Sunday nights) and it's a definite keeper.

Can't wait to see what it will do after a tune-up. Parts will be swapping between the bikes very very soon.
