What's a Bol D'or anyway?

A French endurance type, road race. "Bol D'Or" being something like "Gold Cup" in their lingo.

Cynical marketing tie-in by Honda who had some success with a pukka racing bike to shift more units in mainland Europe.

Our DOHC's are Bol D'or's (at heart anyway)
Named after the Gold Cup Race in France.

I have fashioned my bikes as U.S. Super Duper BolD'ors Twisted Evil

How many other US or Canadian CB1100Fs have Euro/Australian gas tanks/decals? None, that's how many. I have the only two Super Duper Bold'ors in this country because I made them that way to be super unique.
