Here is a Honda VIN Ref. I found on a Honda car site. I read my VIN against it and what fit seems to work. Maybe if Nao reads this he can add to, or modify it for bikes.
I will modify if I find more info.

I have JH2 SC1102 DM005775. This is a red Canadian model that was rescued from a snow bank in the boonies. It is currently a drag bike but is not butchered and may return to street trim when my new race bike is completed.

Not to be a party pooper or anything... but what about the other fine models out there? While you're all compiling the *difinitive* 1100 VIN list, why not create two more for the 750s and 900s?
Mine, if anyone's interested...

My 1st 1100's VIN#JH2SC1104DM003848 30000 MILES
My 2nd 1100's VIN#JH2SC1109DM007037 11000 MILES
One is red and one is blue and the blue is the one I ride.
This is #1 to me and #3848 off the line, I paid $2500.00 for her. She has CR carbs and an 1123 motor that is worked to the balls;
This is my 2nd 11F #7037, bought with 10,264 miles for $1400.00, she now has Mikuni VM-33 smoothbores and will have a Dyna 2000 very soon.
The rest of her is set up Euro style.

Not sure if anyone is still interested in this but.....
JS2SC1105DM005981
I believe it began life as red/white. I am nearing the end of a long drawn out process of restoring it and the parts I've collected to put on it are red/white. |

Sorry for my lack of attention to detail,
My correct VIN is as follows:
JH2SC1105DM005981
its early, I've only had one cup of coffee, and my coordination between shift key, letters & numbers and giddiness of posting here caused goof in my last post

Just found this thread, hope I didn't miss the opportunity
JH2SC110XDM007371 Blue
Incidentally, has anyone had problems registering their 1100F as an 1100? I have lived in two states now that refuse to register the bike as an 1100. Maine issued my insurance card as a CB400. Mass. cancelled my insurance and registration and issued a warrant for my arrest for tampering with a VIN. |

Now one is blue and it is faster than the red one, but not as pretty. |
