just read it, great read, and it's great to see how many lives he influenced.

I didn't know him too well, i posted in a few of his threads and talked to him a couple times, but i can't honestly say that i knew much about him... this read kind of opened my eyes to the guy i'd talked to a few times.

I'm registered on many forums which i visit regularly, and it's sad to say that so many posts are just words on a screen, written by someone on the other side who may just as well not exist at all, or at least in your level of interest. Matt never seemed like that kind of poster to me. He always seemed estute and witty, and most of all he had personality. A lot of people here do, which is why i keep coming back.

He will be missed, and I will be ordering a decal or two as soon as I can.

I have been away from the site some as I have sold the CB. I have kept an eye on things though. It still amazes me how many people Matt touched. I made a bad statement about him once that he never missed a chance to sell some carbs. We boxed a bit but worked it out.

My judgement of a person has never been further from the truth. He was always trying to give the best advice he could. He would go out of his way to help someone. He is missed on this forum and in the real world also.

Great article and for once, a columnist needs to be commended for an excellent article on a person we will always remember fondly for his wit, his knowledge and just being a unique individual. Kudos for a well written, well articulated walk through Matt's life.

Some people come into this life and leave it without a trace; while others like Matt will enjoy a legacy that will live on just because of the person that he was. That in and of itself will be his greatest tribute.

Spook
