Howzit guys
Does anyone out there have a cure for loose swivel ball joints on ferring mounted mirrors.....it is a real pain in the arse having to keep pushing it back into position every time i open the bike up. Have tried siliconing the outside but in only lasts a few days and looks shit anyway...
any Ideas will be appriciated

here's the fix......make up a couple of thin plastic rods about 10 cm long by 1cm wide and the thickness should be less than 1 mm. Work the rods in behind the rubber seal holding the mirror in. Once the glass and seal are out you will see the mechanism that holds the swivel tight. Snug everything up to your liking. Add some locktite so it will stay that way and carefully work the seal and glass back in and you are done..........  |
