I just want to say hi to all you people out there, nice to see so many people so enthusiastic about the old DOHC fours, I have to admit that I neither have/have had or am likely to own one but I often dream about all the ones I've seen ( does that sound sad, just that from 1978 until 2000 I worked as a spare parts person, senior storesman, stores manager, stock controller, problem sorted, you name it, at a large Honda Spares stockist ( they don't have those anymore as such) and saw so many of these come and be built from crates, did parts for them, sorted problems, and even had to do with breaking one for spares one time so they stick in my brain) I keep having a dream that I have different ones hidden away somewhere, maybe wishing I did. Anyway, been sick for some time (five and a half years) but got back on the last month and been getting back into the bike scene before that as my recovery progressed. I may well be back in the trade again near, and meantime I'm watching lots of forums on Hondas and other things, and will chime in with anything I remember which might help someone. That will do, feel free to send me a message, best wishes and good health to all. |

Welcome, HondaPartsMan!!
BTW, EatPasti: What exactly are you wishing to see pix of? His recovery? Maybe you want to see his PECS instead of his pics? Wassupwitdat? (read it - guy doesn't have an 'F, has always worked with bikes though)
However. You are entitled to beg for pics if that pleases ya. |

Welcome to F'eavin. Hope you enjoy your stay, and big thanks for any help you offer.
Can't say I have ever seen such a generous offer from a non-F'er, here on the site. Bunch of lurkers wanting help, but you are the first I have seen that is here to try and help and don't even own an F.
Awesome!
Keep up the recovery and be carfull cause you may wind up becoming another F'er if your health permits.
The people here are good. The best forum I have ever been a part of.
We might even be able to help you out. You never know.
Try and keep up with it all if you can.
And if you really hear enything about those hidden crate bikes out there you make sure we're the first to know! |

Oh Boy!!! More people familiar with parts is a good thing. Welcome and feel free to chime in anytime you think you can help. That is how we all benefit.
