Cam chain went out Friday coming home from work. Just short of 50k miles. 3rd gear has been degenerating for the last 10k miles, compression dwindling, fuel economy fell from 40+ to about 30 mpg in the past year. Time to park the '82 900F pending major teardown #2.

Anyway, I'll be cannibalizing the 900F to get the 750F on the road this weekend. Swapping over brakes, maybe carbs, certainly airbox, turn signals, bodywork, ignition, and who knows what all.

Calling Dr. Frahnk-N-Steen.

I guess I can always take the wife's KZ to work if I don't finish. I can't remember the last time I went more than 3 days without riding... better get to work.

Franken-Honda lives.... IT IS ALIIIIIVEEE!!!!!!

Hmm... 16kmile engine sounds pretty tight... I'll find out how tight in about an hour when I get the front wiring together and into a light housing, put the pegs and controls on, and add some body work.

A weekend well spent.

Razor... I'll be in touch after I survey the damage, thanks.
