Correct for all the DOHC bikes, I think they started with the round points cover with the “Made in Japan” lettering at the bottom and then moved to the beveled cover in later model years.

That is an aftermarket cover from Kijima in Japan, yours looks to have been powdercoated.
Fits all 79-83 DOHC and has a matching point cover.
