You'll be happier with the results, and oil or gas won't affect it.

In case anyone wondering or search same topic. I went to local Honda and was given a copy of their version of jet settings based on my Australian CB1100FD VIN#.

Had these polished today and very happy with results. I'm gonna spray these with clear coat, probably acrylic lacquer. They look great and will definately add at least 10 extra horsepower.
