Look for dirt in the open holes. Get it running and hot and then change the oil shortly after (use junk oil). I'd turn it over a few times in the CORRECT DIRECTION first.

Gotta look at that stuff.
You have a drum brake SA instead of disc. The drum anti-rotation arm attaches under the arm on those. |

| Yes, but do they use any other high evaporative like MTBE, ethanol not the only thing used. Other chemicals can promote super fast evaporation to clog carbs too. |

| The Kerker for sure has a nice baffle that can pick you up a chunk of low and mid, I got one and modded it. I don't care for the V&H baffle at all, it kills noise but does little else. |

Use stripper on the paint to remove some of it and then blast, you'll save bundles in media cost, the paint dust wrecks the media.

| The OEM windings are glued layer to layer all the way down to the core, I understand a lot of rewinders do not do that. They only glue the outside of the whole coil. |

| The VB51 is the thing, a standard VB Keihin carb it sounds like. The VB is the basic carb type and anything here you find would cover it other than the jet numbers themselves. |
