Hi...
I bought this motorcycle in the fall 2000.
In France where I live, it is very rare to find a not modified CB900F, most of the first year’s
were used for racing, they were fast and reliable….
I did some improvements for a better road handling and braking:
I have a lot of pleasure with this motorcycle, I can ride it fast on the Alps’s roads or just
cruise with my wife. I have now 41500 km on it .
A little bit of history :
Thank you for this very good site where people from all over the world can share their passion
and it is a real pleasure to be part of it.
Philip Rochette.
A friend of mine told me about someone who had a Honda 900F for sale.
I collect old motorcycles, so I went to see it.
I remenbered this bike from the early 80’s,but never had any interest for it.
When I saw this nearly new and one of the very first 1978 model, I could not resist
and after a short test drive I bought it.
Usually I prefer to buy motorcycles that need to be restored.
This bike was fist hand with 35000km on the clock, it came with all maintenance records,
owner manual and complet tool kit.
-Telefix antiflex fork brackets
-Progressive fork springs and thicker oil
-50m/m fork extensions in place of the oil caps
-Brembo calipers with bigger disks and modern master cylinder
-Braided brake lines
This Honda was design for the européen market and called Eurostyle.
The model’s name comes from the world famous 24 hours race, Bol d’or.
