Hi from the Redwood Country
Bought this bike about two years ago as a "virtual motorcycle"! I found it on line search in Cycle
Trader, chatted with the owner to find all of the machines history - it was brand new "in the crate",
and assembled in '92 by a Honda mechanic - then sold off due to a new baby.
It became a guy's "Sunday rider" up by Seattle. It had 7,500 miles on the odometer. Photos proved to be
better than it actually looked.
Settled on a good price- then used an on-line escrow firm, (good idea) then an on-line motorcycle
shipper to the loading dock at my work.
Nice machine - runs perfect. 9,800 miles on it today, has new Metzler tires and rear wheel bearings.
A Telefix front fork brace, and a shorty fairing are the only add-ons, oh, and some black mirrors.
It is a cold blooded beast. but once warmed up, it purrrrs right up to 9,500 rpm's! It runs on GS
4 20-50 lube, and it's really a head turner at the Sunday Alice's Restaurant Bike hangout here!
Thanks
