      Information on this bike:

      Hello,

Glad to find this website. I sure learn quickly to love this bike. My riding and collecting friend owns a small motorcycle shop and salvage yard, where he specializes in older Japanese bikes.

About my bike: 1982 CB900F; bike was yellow when it came into the shop; the shop had a NOS tank, and a decent seat/tailpiece. Put on new tires, took off the 4 into 1 pipe and muffler and replaced it with a takeoff from a CB1100F; uses more oil than I prefer, will tear into it later; bike had 15,000 miles when I bought it, in July 2000; since pictures were taken, I put a Tracy fairing, and bars from a CB750F. Of all my Honda's, this is my favorite. As you can see below, I am very active in the VJMC, and found some good information on my bike there.

I almost forgot to mention that I got, from my friend who owns the m/c shop, an original Honda pair of rear sets. I will have to fabricate the shift lever and linkage, then it will be installed.

I do have some spare parts if anyone needs them.

      Thanks,

      Wayne Marsula

In December 2001, Wayne submitted the following information:

I found this fairing on eBay and no one else bid on it, so I got it for $100, brand new! I will be painting it this winter. I also had the seat remade by a shop in San Diego, it is much more comfortable to ride now.

I have also added case protectors, but they may have to be removed as they hit ground too easily.
