1981 Honda CB900F

Information on this bike:

Hi, my name is Don Springer and this is my 1981 Honda CB900F SuperSport. I acquired this bike in 1996 in several boxes of parts. All the bodywork was painted with different color spray cans and most of the motor top end was disassembled. I copied the design for the paint job from an 83 CB1100F using pearlescent and metallic urethane with 3 coats of clear over it. The turn signals, bars and cables are from the CB1100F and the fairing is aftermarket but the rest of the bike is pretty much stock. This 900 runs great and I really love the power, especially over 6500rpm. It handles a little top heavy but I think that can be cured with some new rubber and suspension work.

It's good to see all of you interested in these bikes. It gives me the incentive to keep working on improving mine. Keep riding.
