1981 Honda CB900F

Information on this bike:

Hi there,

Technical:
I purchased my bike in March 2000. As far as I can work out, it is either a 1979 or 1980 model (I still have to confirm this with Honda). It has 37000 kilometers on the clock (I don't know if these are genuine or not). I have not done any mods to the bike, but I do intend to strip the bike down and overhaul the engine. I know for certain that the cam chain(s) is loose.

Me:
I live in Durban, South Africa, where there is no real winter (annual low of 10 degrees celsius). Bit of a bummer when taking the bike off the road for a while. I have done one long trip, about 600 Kms, and a couple of shorter trips around 200 Kms. Once she is done up, I'll go on longer trips again.

Other bike:
Yes, I have another. I have a Suzuki GS500E which I intend to use while my CB900F is on the bench.
