1980 Honda CB900F

Hi, my name is Lee Golding and I'm from Levin, New Zealand .. I picked this bike up about 6 months ago and it was in a terrible state. Played around with it on and off for a while and had a big rebuild on it 2 months ago.

As you can see, it looks great now. Only have to do a few small things to it, like replace the primary chain in the engine block, replace the ignitors and fix up the gears as the last owner geared it too low. I love riding it around the countryside and hope to take it on a tour of the South Island of New Zealand in the next few months ..

It's a 1980 model with an odometer reading of 94000 kms. It still goes really well considering not much work was done to the engine, only new shims, new cam chains with a replacement head gasket and a professional tune up from a motorbike shop.

Being a tall person, I find this bike is great to be on as most of the modern bikes feel too restricted if you are over 6 foot tall !!!!

I am very proud of my little baby and hope to be riding it for some time to come!

PS... I would be interested if anyone knows of any aftermarket fairings for this bike, as the only complaint I have with the bike is you get just about get blown off it over 100 kms per hour (or 60 mph if that is what you work in).
