Just printed this for Greg (Hondo57) with high temp PA12 carbon fiber. This will shave 2lb 2 oz off on what is probably the lightest streetable F on the planet

Greg had a weird corrosion problem with the FCR spigots. New spigots are on the way to him. After which, he'll put it on the dyno and it will be ready. |

Great job Cary, you are the best!
This will bring the bike down to 372 lbs dry weight. That is over 200 lbs lighter than my 900F fully loaded. |

That's slick.
How was threading that? Did you use inserts? |

I used inserts for the brush plate and tapped threads for the stator retaining screws |

Now there's a blast from the past.
Nice to see you're still kicking, Jim. |

Just curious how carbon fibre deals with dispursing heat.
Cheers Jim |

Are you going to be making these for sale? I know my real wombat would love to be wall mounted so i don't eventually scratch it. |

I will be mount the CF wombat. Take it for a ride, Then do some temperature checking with a temp sensor gun. Inside readings to the best of my ability pulling it off fast as well as outside readings. The CF is good to 450 and the temp around that area is around 220. |

I'm waiting to see how Greg's temperature testing works out. |
